Donald Poynter

Donald L. Poynter is a personal injury attorney and the managing partner of Poynter & Bucheri Accident Recovery in Indianapolis, Indiana, a position he has held since 1996. A lifelong Indiana resident who grew up in Morgantown, he focuses his practice on representing injured people in claims against insurance companies, including motor vehicle, motorcycle, and slip-and-fall matters. Mr. Poynter earned his B.A. in Economics (with a Business Management major) from Indiana University–Bloomington in 1992 and his J.D. from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law (Indianapolis) in 1996. He was admitted to the Indiana bar in 1996 and is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. An avid motorcyclist, he gives particular attention to the risks riders face from cars and trucks. He is a member of the Indiana State Bar and is Lead Counsel Certified.
