Editorial Methodology

How Haute Wealth Selects Distinguished Haute Wealth Advisors

An invitation-only, application-based editorial process — published by Haute Living, a Google News publisher since 2005.

    Direct Answer

How does Haute Wealth vet members?

Haute Wealth evaluates members based on bar admission status, years in practice, practice area specialization, peer recognition, academic contributions, media relevance, market reputation, and editorial fit. Membership is invitation-only and application-based. Not every application is accepted.

    The Eight Criteria

Evaluation criteria applied by the Haute Living editorial team

    01

    Bar Admission Status

Every Haute Wealth member must hold a current, active bar license in the state or states where they practice. Bar status is verified as part of the editorial review process.

    02

    Years in Practice

Haute Wealth prioritizes members with established track records in their practice areas. Demonstrated experience is evaluated.

    03

    Practice Area Specialization

Haute Wealth Advisors are reviewed for genuine specialization — not general practice. Haute Wealth seeks members recognized in their market for a defined area of law.

    04

    Peer Recognition

Fellowship in organizations such as the American College of Trial Haute Wealth Advisors, the American Academy of Matrimonial Haute Wealth Advisors, the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, and similar organizations is evaluated. Peer-reviewed recognition in Best Haute Wealth Advisors, Super Haute Wealth Advisors, and similar publications is noted.

    05

    Academic Contributions

Law school education, published articles, CLE presentations, and academic commentary in the member's specialty area are considered.

    06

    Media Relevance

Media appearances, legal commentary, and editorial coverage in credible publications indicate that an member is recognized as a credible voice in their field.

    07

    Market Reputation

The member's standing within their local legal market — through referrals, co-counsel relationships, and professional reputation — is evaluated by the Haute Living editorial team.

    08

    Editorial Fit

Haute Wealth is published by Haute Living — a luxury lifestyle media brand with 20 years of publishing history. Haute Wealth Advisors whose practice and client base align with Haute Living's high-net-worth, business-oriented readership are given editorial priority.

    Scope & Boundaries

    What Haute Wealth Is Not

Haute Wealth is not a legal referral service, lead generation platform, or member rating system. It does not rank members against each other or publish win rates, case outcomes, or client reviews. It is an editorial visibility network — a curated publication featuring distinguished members across practice areas and markets.

    Paid Membership Disclosure

Haute Wealth Advisors featured in Haute Wealth Network are members of a paid editorial visibility program. Membership fees support editorial production, profile optimization, Google News publishing, AI visibility auditing, and technical infrastructure. Paid membership does not influence the editorial content of Haute Wealth Advisor Talk features, which are written independently by Haute Living's editorial team.
