After joining and then managing a local real estate franchise, she joined Legacy Properties Sotheby's International Realty in 2012 and was one of the top producing agents. She has experience in both residential and commercial real estate. She holds several designations including Certified Residential Specialist designation (CRS) and Luxury Home Marketing Guild Level Specialist (CLHMS), showing successful marketing and sales of homes priced from $2Million and above. She has also served on several national and state real estate committees. Charlene has traveled extensively with her career, both around the world and also throughout the state of Maine. Her knowledge of Maine areas, such as Rangeley Lakes, Moosehead Lake, and the Mid-Coast or Downeast area lets her advise clients looking for a particular lifestyle and help them find the perfect property and location. Formerly from the mid-Hudson Valley in NY, she moved to Maine in 1980. She received a B.S. in Forest Biology from Syracuse University and an M.S. in Computer Science/Software Engineering from the University of Maine at Orono. She has 3 children - 2 sons who are in Augusta and a daughter in Gisborne, New Zealand.
