Diane von Furstenberg Opens Hip New Boutique in SoHo

To the delight of NYC’s fashionistas, Diane von Furstenberg’s second boutique in the city has officially opened in SoHo at 135 Wooster Street. According the DVF website, the sleek and chic new 1,650-square-foot space was newly designed by Von Furstenberg and Creative Director Yvan Mispelaere, and features a separate area featuring DVF’s extensive collection of stylish accessories.

In addition to the entire wall of shoes and handbags, the accessories collection includes scarveseyewear, and Diane Vintage accessories. This new location is the first to feature apparel from DVF’s new Pre-Fall collection in addition to pieces from her gorgeous Spring 2011 collection, Diane Vintage wrap dresses, and exclusive pieces from the DVF Home collection.

The stunning new design of the store just adds to the already amazing shopping experience. A striking neon-lit wall welcomes shoppers by featuring Von Furstenberg’s favorite mantras, like “Glamour is shine and confidence” and “Love is Life.” Additionally, a live Twitter feed plays on a plasma screen, three other screens play runway and behind-the-scenes footage for some serious shopping inspiration, and a fifth screen houses an interactive click-to-buy experience on the new, re-launched Diane von Furstenberg website.
