Experience Luxurious Cashmeres at Brunello Cucinelli at Crystals at CityCenter

Back when United Colors of Benetton was all the rage and everyone wore those bright sweaters with their hip advertising campaigns, Brunello Cucinelli started knitting his own line of Italian cashmere sweaters. As the company grew, he moved into a restored 14th century castle in his wife’s hometown of Solomeo to expand his line of cashmere into a luxurious sportswear lines for men and women and eventually employ nearly every person living in the village in Umbria.

Now the line features more muted colors of cashmeres, along with silk dresses, polo shirts, flannel blazers, and jackets with elbow patches. And now you can find his collections at Crystals at CityCenter. The 1,400-square-foot boutique is the company’s second location on the West Coast and one of nearly 50 worldwide.

“In the heart of the desert and founded by the first Spanish Conquistadores, Las Vegas has become the entertainment capital of the world, with more than 30 million visitors a year,” Brunello Cucinelli said. “Given its great capacity to accept and absorb stimuli and inspirations that are very different from one another, I hope that, in addition to the taste and craftsmanship of our collections, our boutique will also succeed in communicating the values, traditions and culture of our land.”

Architect Luigi Fiorentino created an intimate shopping experience with homelike touches, cashmere wall hangings and objects purchased in old Umbrian workshops to put together a feel that reflects the company’s style and philosophy.

The Fall Winter 2010 collection will premier in the new space with lush cashmere knits in signature neutral hues, delicate scarves in an array of shades, elegant outerwear and novelty pieces styled with a modern touch.
