Stephen Ross Makes $1 million Donation to Pérez Art Museum Miami
Majority owner of the Miami Dolphins and Haute 100 Miami lister Stephen Ross donated $1 million to the Perez Art Museum, formerly known as the Miami Art Museum.
The donation was announced on Friday at the corporate luncheon that took place on property, where Museum director Thom Collins took to the stands to share his gratitude towards Ross’ generous gesture.
”The gift is unrestricted and will lead to something in the museum — still undetermined,” said Collins.
The locale, currently under renovation and scheduled to open late next year, aims to “contribute substantially to downtown revitalization” by means of promoting arts education.
