Jay-Z’s inaugural Made in America music festival has added some bright names to its already gleaming marquee. The event, taking place September 1 and 2 in Philadelphia, has added emotive hip-hop sensation Drake to a stacked line-up currently ruled by headliners Pearl Jam and ringleader Jay. Pearl Jam will now be joined by fellow Seattle grunge vet Chris Cornell (of Soundgarden fame) in Philly. Other additions include seminal rap act RUN DMC, neo soul singer Jill Scott and guitar rocker Gary Clark, Jr.
Dubstep’s dark prince Skrillex, Rihanna collaborator Calvin Harris, cerebral indie outfit The Dirty Projectors, rap provocateurs Odd Future and Swede rockers The Hives are just a few of the musicians rounding out the Budweiser-sponsored festival, with fresh artists announcements still possibly to come.
