Tonight’s White House British State Dinner will be littered with Haute 100 listers. Among other VIP guests will be Haute listers Anna Wintour, longtime editor of Vogue and key Obama fundraiser. Keeping Ms. Wintour in good company will be fellow Haute listers: Hollywood notable Harvey Weinstein, fresh off his Oscar sweep, and his Marchesa designer wife Georgina Chapman.
Celebrities and pop culture icons will be representing in strong numbers at this political affair. George Clooney, sans girlfriend Stacy Kiebler, will be dining at the VIP table with the president and first lady. Additional actors on the guest list include: Hugh Bonneville, from the PBS breakout hit “Downtown Abbey” and Elizabeth McGovern, the American actress who plays his “Downtown Abbey” wife. Iris Elba, the British actor from “The Wire, ” which is ultra popular in England will be in attendance along with “The Wire” co-star Wendell Pierce.
Warren Buffett will be attending, as will BET Chair and CEO Debra Lee and Sir Richard Branson of Virgin Group businesses.
