The American Society for Composers, Authors and Publishers, also known by its acronym, ASCAP, recognizes artists with a Golden Note Award for their “outstanding achievements and contributions to the world of film and television music.”
And this year, the academy is honoring Haute 100 Miami lister Pharrell Williams, recognizing the artist for his “career success.”
Williams, who is thrilled about the recognition he will receive on June 29th, said “It is an honor to receive The Golden Note Award. ASCAP has celebrated some of the greatest musicians of our time with this distinction, and I am humbled to be in their ranks. The work ASCAP has done and continues to do to protect and serve music creators is truly remarkable and it is a thrill to be recognized by such a respected institution.”
Congratulations!
