Katsuya Uechi’s haute sushi spots are about to go international.
Award-winning nightlife, hotel and restaurant development and management company Sbe has announced their partnership with M.H. Alshaya Co. to globally expand the Katsuya brand.
Thge collaboration will see the first two Katsuya by S+ARCK restaurants open in the Middle East come 2013.
In addition to the openings in Kuwait and Dubai, there are plans to develop up to 17 restaurants across the region by 2017.
Featuring the dynamic pairing of Master Sushi Chef Katsuya Uechi and design impresario Philippe Starck, Katsuya by S+ARCK restaurants comprise a collection of top Zagat rated destinations, offering a menu of innovative sushi and Robata dishes uniquely adapted for the American palate.
