Though he has not confirmed it yet, it’s being seen that Rick Caruso has taken the preliminary steps towards running for mayor of Los Angeles.
Media buyers working on The Grove developer’s behalf have been calling in and checking on rates for commercial TV time in recent days, reports LA Weekly.
His media buyer expressed interest in buying spots shortly after the Nov. 6 presidential election, but no airtime has yet been purchased.
Caruso’s political adviser, Matt Middlebrook, remained tight-lipped, saying: “I don’t have anything to say about it.”
The deadline to file for the March 2013 primary is Nov. 10.
