David Geffen is notoriously quiet about his private life, but when he does speak, his personal revelations are shockingly unexpected.
While promoting his upcoming “American Masters” documentary on PBS during the , the Television Critics Association semiannual press tour, the billionaire revealed that he has never text anyone, nor does he own a cell phone or carry an ATM card.
The star of “Inventing David Geffen”, which airs on November 20, the mogul also dismissed claims that he is the subject of Carly Simon’s iconic song, “You’re So Vain”.
He shrugged: “Not that I’m not vain; I’m just not her vain.”
