Haute 100 LA Update: Kathleen Kennedy to Receive Pioneer of the Year Award
Kathleen Kennedy is the recipient of this year’s Pioneer of the Year award.
The Will Rogers Motion Picture Pioneers Foundation made the announcement this week, announcing that the new Lucasfilm head honcho will receive her honor during a charity dinner coinciding with CinemaCon, the annual gathering of theater owners in Las Vegas.
Kennedy was handpicked by George Lucas to lead his company last year; it has since been bought by Disney.
