The Symphony Team supplies the masks and you create the memories at this fabulous concert and celebration. The party starts at 8pm with the swinging lounge tunes of The Martini Brothers in the main lobby. At 9pm, enjoy a lively concert. Afterward, complimentary La Marca® Prosecco will be flowing alongside desserts. Get your groove on with Super Diamond on the Second Tier, or harken back to the golden age of the 1930s with the Peter Mintun Orchestra and dance on the stage of Davies Symphony Hall.

Turn the page to 2013 with Presidio Social Club at the Yellow, Black & White Masquerade Ball. Evoking the tradition of formality and the symbolic new beginning that a new year offers, PSC will be offering a 5-course ($95) or 6-course ($125) prix fixe menus all inspired by eggs, and all that they represent. Don a mask, grab your dancing shoes, and spend your evening dining, and dancing with PSC. First seatings will be from 5-6 and feature the 5-course menu. Second seatings will be from 8-9, feature the 6-course tasting menu and a New Year’s champagne toast at midnight.

Ring in the New Year with scrumptious dishes from Chef Jason Berthold, including Kona Kampachi CrudoBlack Truffle PappardelleArctic Char “Amandine” and more. Offered exclusively on the eve of December 31, RN74’s Four Course Tasting menu will be offered for $110, while optional Sommelier Wine Pairings and Grand Cru Wine Pairings are also available for $65 and $85 respectively. The first seating is from 5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. and the second seating from 7:15 p.m.-10:00 p.m. Following dinner, the restaurant will close out the night with DJ Matteo in RN74’s Atrium and Lounge.

Long Meadow Ranch Winery & Farmstead invites guests to ring in the New Year with a special evening at Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch on Monday, December 31st, featuring Executive Chef Stephen Barber’s special four-course farm-to-table dinner menu, great wine, excellent cocktails, and live music!

Farmstead at Long Meadow Ranch will offer a delicious farm-to-table pre fixe menu , with highlights including : Miyagi oysters on the half shell with sauce maltaise and American caviar; Roasted Sonoma duck with fried rice, steamed buns and mandarin orange sauce; and Potato gnocchi with wild foraged mushrooms and braised celery (for full pre-fixe menu, please see below). In addition to the pre fixe menu, guests also have the option of dining from the regular Farmstead menu.

As dessert is served, guest can enjoy live music and begin the countdown to 2013. At the stroke of midnight, a champagne toast will ring in the New Year and guests are invited to continue the festive celebration into the morning hours. Limited seating available.

Nick’s Cove, a nostalgic and welcoming gathering place overlooking the tranquil waters of Tomales Bay, will ring in 2013 with a special five-course tasting menu on Monday, December 31. Featuring the bounty of the West Marin County coast, the menu will focus mainly on local seafood with a playful dash of Champagne in every course. From local oysters served with a Champagne glaçage to Butter Roasted Petrale Sole with French green lentils and a Champagne beurre blanc, Executive Chef Austin Perkins and Pastry Chef Gillian Helquist have created a menu that is ideal for an intimate holiday for two as well as a large family celebration.

To ring in 2013, Bluestem will offer two seatings to enjoy a prix-fixe menu prepared by Chef Francis Hogan.  From 5-7 p.m., a 4-course menu for $90 per person will be available, and from 8-11 p.m. a 5-course menu for $110 per person will be served (optional wine pairing available). The later seating will include a complimentary glass of Champagne and NYE party favors to add to the festive mood.  That evening, Bluestem’s regular menu will not be served, but walk-ins are welcome to order their burger in the lounge and bar (if seating is available).

Michelin-starred Matthew Accarrino celebrates New Year’s Eve at SPQR with a lavish 10 course prix fixe menu for $135 per person; optional wine pairings (selected by award-winning wine director Shelley Lindgren) are available for $70 per person (price subject to change). Vegetarian and Gluten Free diets will be accommodated if noted while securing the reservation.

For New Year’s Eve, Executive Chef Christopher Thompson has created a special 6 course tasting menu for  $95, with optional wine pairings (selected by award-winning wine director Shelley Lindgren) for an additional $75. Menu items will include Dungeness crab with frisee, fried lemons and peranzana olives, Pork sausage with Umbrian lentils and truffle mascarpone, andRicotta torte with candied orange. An optional course of Piedmonte black truffle tagliarini with grana padano fonduta for $25 is also available.

New Year’s Eve at Comstock Saloon is an all day food and drink affair. In the spirit of giving, Comstock is hosting a fundraiser for the families of Drakes Bay Oyster Company. Guests can purchase Drakes Bay Oysters for $10/half dozen from 12:00p.m. to 4:00p.m., with all proceeds benefitting the families.

To complement the raw bar, Chef Carlo Espinas will be cooking up San Francisco classics like Smoked Oyster Chowder and Dungeness Crab Cocktail. Wash it all down with Louis Roederer Champagne, available for purchase by the glass and bottle. The bar will also be slinging Saloon Keeper Jonny Raglin’s favorite drink, Death in the Afternoon, along with the full beverage menu.

For dinner, Chef Carlo will offer an oyster-themed 3-course prix-fixe menu for $65/per person plus tax and gratuity from 6:00p.m.-midnight. Highlights include Hangtown Salad with escarole hearts with smoked oyster dressing, pork belly and sieved egg; and Roasted Quail with oyster-sausage stuffing, fennel, artichokes and creamed kale. A vegetarian option will be available.  Ms. Katy Stephan will tickle the ivories and heartstrings for Happy Hour, and live gypsy jazz will usher in the New Year.

Toast the New Year at one of San Francisco’s most iconic destinations – Top of the Mark! From 6:30 p.m. until 1:30 a.m., enjoy a special reception, entertainment, dinner, dancing, and a Champagne toast at midnight. Start your evening with Champagne and hors d’oeuvres including assorted caviar, Spanish Serrano ham carving station, and a selection of rillettes. Following the reception, guests will enjoy a seated four-course dinner with bottle of Moet & Chandon Imperial before dancing the night away and toasting the New Year with a glass of Moet Chandon Rose. Rounding out the festivities is live entertainment from pianist Michael Athens and the Megatones, a Bay Area rock and roll band. Reservations are required.The InterContinental Mark Hopkins lobby will also celebrate the New Year with live music from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. by the Al Marshall Trio.

For a luxurious New Year’s Eve dining experience Chef Suzette Gresham and Chef De Cuisine Mark Pensa will offer a five course tasting menu with dishes such asMaine Lobster medallions, sunchoke, cabbage, brown butter and lobster bisque cromesqui and Pancetta-Wrapped Veal loin with apple, black truffle and braised endive.

The family at Dio Deka, the award-winning Hellenic restaurant located in Los Gatos, CA, invites guests to ring in 2013 with them and their annual New Year’s Eve party. The restaurant will offer two seatings (6:00pm – 8:30pm; 8:30pm – 2:00am) each with a four-course menu featuring Greek specialties from Chef Marty Cattaneo such as Keftethakia lamb meatballs, Octapothi Scharas – mesquite-grilled octopus, Ahlado-soupa – roasted red bell pepper and pear soup; Lavraki – mesquite-grilled Mediterranean Branzino; Ostraka – seared diver scallops and Monterey abalone; and Brizola – mesquite-grilled prime bone in rib eye. Guests that attend the second seating will receive party favors, a midnight complimentary Champagne toast and encouraged to dance the night away when the bar opens up onto a dance floor with a live DJ. The menus are priced at $95 per person during the first seating and $125 per person during the second seating.

The James Beard-nominated Monterey hotspot is throwing the ultimate luxurious New Year’s Eve party offering a $125 seven-course prix fixe menu to include caviar and oysters, abalone, Dungeness crab and Monterey Spot Prawns. Sample menu items from Chef Levi Mezick may include Bacon Biscuits with maple chili butter; Smoked Salmon Terrine; Parmesan GnocchiPan Roasted Scallops with caviar, spatzel and mustard emulsion; and  Almond Wood Grilled New York Steak with black truffle sauce. Guests will have the choice of two seatings either from 5:00pm to 6:30pm or 7:45pm to 9:00pm and everyone is encouraged to attend the party after they’ve dined.

A live DJ will spin from 9:00pm until 2:00am and Restaurant 1833 will jump through time with a “Roaring 20’s and Boardwalk Empire” theme. Spirit Smith Michael Lay will make his signature NYE Champagne Punch.

Indulge in the New Year’s Eve prix fixe menu featuring choices that range from a chestnut soup with duck confit, black truffle-Maderia whipped cream and brioche croutons, to a Petrale sole with caviar-champagne sauce and a delicious Flourless chocolate torte with blood orange marmalade and whipped crème fraiche. The menu is available on December 31stfrom 5:30pm – 10:30pm for $125 with the option to add wine pairings for $175.
