It was yet another busy, traffic-diverting day in New York for President Barack Obama, who yesterday went from a taping of The Late Show with David Letterman to a $40,000-per-ticket fundraiser thrown by Jay-Z and Beyoncé at Jay’s 40/40 nightclub. Obama was almost certainly in good spirits in the wake of controversial comments about the dependent 47% of Americans made by his Republican rival Mitt Romney in a leaked video earlier this week.
