Lotus USA Hires Ferrari North America’s CEO

Lotus—the English sports automaker—recruited former Ferrari North America boss Maurizio Perlato to be the CEO of the brand’s U.S. operation.

Lotus has made somewhat of a practice of hiring Ferrari employees; in 2009 the automakers snatched Ferrari’s designer Donato Coco—the talent behind cars such as Ferrari’s F430 Scuderia and the 458 Italia.  We see the resemblence.  In 2010, Lotus also hired Guillaume Chabin from Ferrari and Karl-Heinz Kalbfell from BMW.
