The 14,000 square-foot space features 15 treatment rooms, consisting of 12 dry rooms and three fully appointed wet therapy suites for hydrotherapy and Vichy showers. In keeping with the beauty and grandeur of the hotel, the spa’s deluxe treatment rooms deliver an opulent guest experience. Manicures and pedicures are offered in comfortable, leather chairs while makeup lessons and applications are offered in the full boutique by the main lobby lounge. Interconnecting and double treatment rooms for couples are also available.

The two wings feature relaxing lounges with sweeping views of Park Avenue and Manhattan.  Guests are invited to relax and enjoy the selection of refreshing beverages and light fare before or following their treatment.  New to the spa is the option to enjoy a leisurely in-spa lunch in the grand-scale main lounge area. The newly crafted spa menu will be available for order via iPads available in the lounge areas.

Although each service offered at the spa is special, I can’t help but single out one treatment that stands above the rest in innovation, service and specialty. Recently introduced to the spa’s menu, the new signature Guerlain Abeille Royale Expert Treatment Facial is an experience like no other.

Working as an anti-aging, lifting and firming facial, this spectacular treatment features the exclusive Pure Royal Concentrate found in Guerlain’s Abeille Royale skincare range. By harnessing the power of bee products by using eight different types of honey and French royal jelly, this decadent facial helped to restore my skin from the harsh New York City weather and pollution to a smoother and more firm complexion. From the moment you enter the spa, expect to be treated like royalty. The 90 minute service of luxurious pampering also includes a paraffin wax hand treatment and foot or scalp massage in addition to the healing facial treatment which produces noticeably smoother and glowing skin.
