Last night I attended the private launch party in honor of Target and Missoni’s recent collaboration. The event took place in a massive pop up shop across from Bryant Park. Celebrities, press, taste-makers, and the entire Missoni family shopped till they dropped in the two floor store. The collection features over 400 pieces from the iconic brand. From luggage, ties, bedding, bath, bikes, clothing and more that collection has something for everyone The Missoni family was hands on throughout every step of the process and it shows in the quality of the designs. Alexandra Ragazzi shared her thoughts on the collaboration “This collaboration helps not only longtime Missoni fans see another side of the family and line but gives those who never had an opportunity to buy or didnt know anything about Missoni, fall in love with the family.” The collection sold out during the event in under an hour!

Celebrity guest included Designers Angela Missoni and Margherita Maccapani Missoni, Teresa Missoni, Emma Roberts (‘Scream 4”),  Camilla Belle (“From Prada to Nada”), Rachel Zoe, Alessandra Ambrosio, Elizabeth Olsen (“Silent House”), Malin Akerman (“Couples Retreat”), Joy Bryant (“Parenthood”), Alexandra Ragazzi, Bruno Ragazzi, Camila Alves, Selita Ebanks, Michelle Trachtenberg, Kelly Bensimon, Amar’e Stoudemire, Doutzen Kroes, Hilary Rhoda, Nora Zehetner (“Grey’s Anatomy”), Nacho Figueras, Delfina Blaquier, Brad Goreski, Poppy Delevigne, Keren Craig (Marchesa), Georgina Chapman (Marchesa), Derek Blasberg, Fabiola Beracasa, Jen Brill, Rachel Roy and more!

It was a star studded affair that let everyone mingle, sip cocktails and shop the collection before anyone else in the world! I talked to CEO and Founder of Just Jared.com about how he felt about the collection. “From what I’ve seen–good so far. The missoni prints are so recognizeable. And Margherita Missoni can bring such a big fashion trend to a lower price point that everyone will embrace it.”
