Fashion lovers get ready because a new concept boutique is about to open in Atlanta’s Midtown. Located in the Plaza Midtown Building, Polished and Primped will offer an eclectic New York-meets -LA array of clothing, accessories and even some underpinnings. But it doesn’t end there—the front of the space will have a man and Pedi space for a little pampering.

Sisters Dawn Riel, who just moved to Atlanta from Rhode Island where she owned an accessories store D2K, and Kim Wilkins, who has had posts at luxury fashion retailers like Kate Spade, Elie Tahari and Neiman Marcus, are two of the masterminds behind the new Atlanta boutique.  The combination of their unique styles is what makes this boutique so unique.

Currently they are hard at work getting ready to open their doors, but I had a chance to peek and I’m already hooked. Think an eclectic assortment ranging from hot party dresses to detailed shirts, rocker-chic leggings and denim and standout accessories that you will not find anywhere else.  It’s all about being bold in fashion. In fact the sisters cannot wait for their spring pieces to arrive, which will include high-waisted silk shorts, beautiful corsets, and ballerina skirts.

But for now the must-see pieces are from a great mix of designers including Blaque Label, Valerie Tolosa, Voom by Joy Han and Blank NYC. Also, Polished and Primped carries exclusive lines like Industry and Crash and Burn that are nowhere else in Atlanta.  Not to mention the hot statement jewels and accessories from Mawi, Erika Pena, Thirteen Crowns, Eugenia Kim and Lee Angel, and the sexy lingerie from Cosabella, Hanky Panky and Blush. And since it’s still cold, they also carry the coveted, hard-to-find Australia Luxe Collective boots (patent leather with the zipper in both purple and black).

This is a dress by designer Valerie Toloso that is one of the many great pieces that will be available at Polished & Primped.

Along with the sister’s impeccable fashion sense for the boutique, Selam Welde, who is of the successful Polished beauty lounge in west Vinings, is another partner. She will be running the luxurious mani and pedi stations with a special menu of luxe services. More to come on that soon…

Expect big things from Polished & Primped. Oh, and don’t be surprised to see former NBA and current Vice President of Basketball for the Hawks- star Dominique Wilkins, Kim Wilkin’s brother- in-law and his buddies hanging out in the plush space.
