Haute Living Los Angeles Jan/Feb 2012
Haute Weekend in the Magic City

Your grade school teachers ingrained the “Five Ws” in your mind, but you’re all grown up, and when it comes time for your two days of blissful freedom, we’ve got your one H (for haute) covered. Haute Living is schooling you in what’s haute in South Florida, and we’re doing it with only three Ws. It’s elementary, my dear weekenders.

What: Vernissage

L.A. artist GIANNI unveils his 2010 debut exhibition, “Quest.” Get a sneak peak at the modern day Renaissance man’s voyage to art and self-discovery through his signature style of abstract expressionism, a hypnotic vision of textures and vibrant colors contrasted by streaks of high gloss black.

Where: Wynwood hotspot Cafeina. Load up on complimentary signature drinks and light bites, including a choice of Veev cocktails and wine, duo empanadas, Ahi tuna poke and mushroom and goat cheese croquette with guava sauce.

Watch an old school rivalry dating back to 1950 while sipping soccer season-themed cocktails poolside at Bahía, the Four Seasons’ poolside bar and restaurant.
