If you are a fan of Whiskey and felt like you haven’t participated in Whiskey Week to your liking then I have an event that will make your day, well ummm, night. Tonight (April 25) Untitled Chicago (111 West Kinzie) will be having their first Annual American Whiskey Affair from 8:30 to 11PM. It will be a night to remember with live music courtesy of The Whiskeybelles, whiskey tastings with your choice of over 75 All-American whiskeys and bourbons, and for a snack there will be hors d’oeuvres served up, including smoked salmon canapés, corn bread bites and pork belly lollipops.

That’s not all, not only will you be able to taste some of your favorites whiskeys, Untitled has a little extra for you. Guests of the event will meet the Distillers that created over 75 American bourbons and whiskeys! Get up close and personal with some of the country’s most popular distillers and enjoy a lesson in the production, history, and flavor profile of each whiskey from each distillery. High profile distillers such as Wes Henderson (Angel’s Envy), Bernie Lubbers and Craig Beam (Heaven Hill), Bill Samuelson of (Marker’s Mark), Jimmy Russell (Wild Turkey), and Fred Noe (great grandson of Jim Beam), Jeff Arnett (Jack Daniels), Keith Kerkhoff (Templeton Rye), Jarle Lillemoem (Bone Spirits), and many more will be on hand at the pouring booths to discuss whiskey and autograph bottles for purchase.

Tickets for the event are $50 online ($75 at the door) for the food and beverage package and that includes all of the above. Purchase of the ticket includes complimentary admission to their late night Thursday party, Unbridled, which they describe as “a fun, funky evening of titillating variete.” I love Untitled and anything they do is first-class and topnotch, so if you are looking for your whiskey fix, this is the place. Tickets to the first Annual Whiskey Affair can be purchased here.
