Art Wynwood opened Friday with a VIP Preview for selected guests who got the chance to see excquisite and unique artwork from 70 of the world’s most prominent galleries.  In honor of Valentine’s Day, models dressed in Alice In Wonderland themed costumes made by fashion designer and visual artist, Luis Valenzuela, welcomed VIP guests at the entrance.

Under the crisp white tent, guests mingled while viewing the amazing, eclectic artwork. Light fare was served along with cocktails made with Le Grand Saint Sparkling Vodka. It was an enjoyable night, and guests were able experience a first view of the highly anticipated Art Wynwood, which runs through Monday.

Among all of the contemporary art, there were five that really stood out; a vibrant and colorful floating aluminum panel from the Cynthia Corbett Gallery made by artist Klari Reis and was available to purchase for $24,000, an oil and used computer disks on wood made by Nick Gentry titled “Opus” on sale for $15,000, a LCD ‘movie loop’ by artist Marck titled Turkysh Bath, a display of numbers in red made by artist Mateo Nava, and an acrylic on vinyl piece of Zhang Dali made by Eli Klein.
