Koi at Trump Soho: A Sexy Take on a Trusted Favorite Restaurant

With ten years of great success as a company, and a Bryant Park location that is still packed nearly every night, KOI has set up a downtown location within the Trump Soho.

It’s contemporary Japanese cuisine at its finest and as our waitress said, “It’s the house that Crispy Rice built.” So of course that was what I ordered along with a Chef’s Robb Lucas’ special Branzino and a few sushi rolls to try out a little bit of everything. Not only was the cuisine just about perfect, but the atmosphere was just what you want for a date night or a sexy night out with friends.

The décor reflects a natural oasis within an urban landscape. Key features of the 4,291 sq. ft. double-story interior include floor-to-ceiling windows, custom hand blown glass chandeliers and wood columns with vertical garden accents. The main dining room incorporates elements of the rainforest through hand chiseled black stones, warm walnut woods and landscaped exotic accents that cascade down the columns. A dramatic spiral staircase leads to the second floor with three additional spaces including the mezzanine dining room, private dining room and mezzanine lounge. Illuminated by candlelight, the natural and intricate details create an elegant atmosphere, while earth-toned colors and modern highlights result in a stunning sense of harmony.

I could not be more delighted to partner with Trump SoHo to open our second property in Manhattan,” said Nick Haque, CEO of Koi Group. “As we continue to grow our brand, we want to make sure that each endeavor uniquely represents who we are. A partnership with a luxury empire such as the Trump organization is a natural fit for us because we both strive to provide our customers with a superior experience. ”
