Haute Event: David Lynch Debuts Limited Edition Collaboration With Dom Pérignon

David Lynch started the summer off right with what will no go down as one of the chicest bashes of the entire season.

The famed director celebrated his limited edition collaboration with Dom Pérignon on Wednesday night with a slew of famous friends, a performance by The Kills and a DJ set by Dipolo.

The filmmaker rubbed elbows with Richard Geoffroy, Dom Pérignon’s Cellar Master, Thomas Jane, Kelly Osborne, Fran Drescher, Topher Grace, Jessica Szhor, Bret Easton Ellis, Marg Helgenberger, Laura Harring, Lady Victoria Hervey and Zoe Cassavetes, among others.

Guests wandered through a labyrinth of spaces at Milk Studios featuring the classic eerie Lynchian touch. They were also treated to experimental food pairings created by Jose Andres of Bazaar such as a carrot gazpacho with dried ice and, of course, Dom Pérignon Vintages 2003 and Rosé 2000.

“Dom Pérignon by David Lynch” takes the form of two gift boxes: one for Dom Pérignon Vintage 2003, the other for Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage 2000. For both, David Lynch designed a shield with different patinas, bronze for Dom Pérignon and almost purple for Dom Pérignon Rosé. Thick and metallic, it is marbled with granite tints, glitters of mica.

The limited edition Dom Pérignon by David Lynch will be available at fine wine purveyors worldwide starting in October.
