With Hermès’ sophisticated system of cams, pinions and segments, the watch has been intricately designed so that its user can automatically enter the watch into “Time Suspended” mode, where the hour hand pauses at 12 o’clock and the date hand disappears completely. The Acreau Temps Suspendu features a 42-hour power reserve, retrograde hours, minutes and date, and stop/start push-piece for the hands. It currently comes in 18-karat pink gold or 316 L stainless steel, with Dial Opaline silvered (pink gold or steel model) or black (steel model) with Matt havana brown or black alligator leather strap.
