Haute Event: "Chasing Rainbows" SS2011 Fashion Show Featuring Grin by Anne Gedeon & Bow by Amanda Gedeon

Last night at the Armani Prive an elegant crowd gathered for “Chasing Rainbows”, a fashion show revealing the Spring/ Summer 2011 collection of Grin and Bow by sisters Anne and Amanda Gedeon. The fun avant-garde jewelry designs of Grin adorn the playful and romantic designs of Bow in lovely ensembles for Spring and Summer.

Grin’s SS2011 collection emphasize the power of color and form and use a variety of natural and man-made materials such as fresh water pearls combined with modern cut wood, vintage charms on textured leather & alligator skin, semi-precious coral and turquoise with rubber, wire, agate, onyx and rhinestones.

These striking jewelry pieces compliment Bow’s collection of romantic and sensual cocktail evening dresses and jumpsuits. Bright colors, nudes and monochrome black and white ensembles provide the perfect base for Grin’s colorful gems.

Both sisters are influenced by a general love of art and culture. “I am definitely a product of a global culture. I have always been enthralled by aesthetics, and have had a genuine admiration for art in all its forms ever since I was young,” says Amanda Gedeon.
