Kelly Osbourne Joins Mac Make-Up Artists to Volunteer at Project Angel Food on World AIDS Day

Kelly Osbourne, daughter of the OG Rock God, Ozzy Osbourne, showed that even rock royalty has a philanthropic edge. The red carpet regular showed up bright and early last week on December 1st to volunteer at Project Angel Food for World AIDS Day, with a smile on her face and an attitude of gratitude.

The pint-sized pixie was raring to go at 9 am. Joined by a team of 15 make-up artists from Mac Cosmetics, she donned an apron and rolled up her sleeves to get down and dirty. Project Angel Food feeds over 13,000 meals per week to men, women, and children in Los Angeles who suffer from HIV/AIDS and other terminal illnesses. That’s a lot of grub to prepare. Suffice to say, Osbourne’s helping hands as well those from the Mac Cosmetics team’s were more than appreciated. Osbourne pitched-in in the kitchen, like she was gunning for Paula Dean’s duties. She chopped nutritious and delicious vegetables and literally stirred the beans.

Later that night, Osbourne took off her white plastic gloves and got all dolled up at Project Angel Food’s Divine Design Gala, held at the Beverly Hills Hotel, where incidentally she was honored as Project Angel Food’s 2010 woman of style. Say what you will about Osbourne’s turns on Dancing with the Stars, her time in the kitchen was a star move indeed.
