Time to Bling: The Haute 5 Jewelry and Watch Boutiques in Las Vegas

The roster of jewelry stores up and down Las Vegas Boulevard reads like a who’s who of high-end jewelers: Harry Winston, Tiffany & Co., Cartier, De Beers, Bulgari, de Grisogono, Van Cleef & Arpels, Chopard, Piaget, Charriol, the list goes on.

Like the best fashion boutiques, a great jewelry store has a well-edited line on display for shoppers. And like coveted fashion designers, a jewelry designer’s marquee boutiques carry a wider range of styles than any jewelry store alone can offer.

We present the Haute Five jewelry stores in Las Vegas, chosen for their breadth of designs or their hard-to-find stand alone stores. You’ll have new bling in no time.

Wynn & Co. Jewelry
Just as all things Wynn have that feel that no detail was left untouched, so does Wynn & Co. Jewelry. The edited collection of precious and semi-precious jewels come from designers such as Kwiat, Buccellati and Mark Patterson, DiModolo and Marco Bicego. Look for watches from Patek Philippe, A. Lange and Söhne, Vacheron Constanin, Breitling, Panerai and Jean Dunand.

Radiance
You have to admire a store that can display a Richard Mille Tourbillon Pocket Watch RM 020 for $430,000. Radiance at Aria at CityCenter has such a piece, along with artistic fine jewelry and luxury watches all in a spectacularly designed environment. Look for hard-to-find collectibles and unique timepieces here.

Rocks the Jewelers
At a place like the Hard Rock Hotel, you expect the jewelry store to reflect the environment. Rocks the Jewelers delivers. The store counts Vince Carter, Justin Timberlake and Barry Bonds as customers, among others. Look for custom-designed pieces by Mordechai, the owner who needs no last name. He brought women’s rings to Elvis (who picked seven) at 3 a.m., designed a mother of pearl, onyx and white diamond replica of Liberace’s piano and created custom-pieces for Robert De Niro, Sharon Stone and Joe Pesci in “Casino.” We’re pretty sure he can take care of you.

H. Stern
This Brazilian-based jewelry company creates odes to the arts, architecture, music and fashion and its works are exhibited in museums and art galleries. H. Stern only has three boutiques in the United States, and the only West Coast location is right here at Crystals at CityCenter. The clean and modern architecture of the store opens it up for younger crowds to appreciate the jewelry within.

Fred Leighton
Fred Leighton’s job is to don the red carpet with diamonds. Sarah Jessica Parker, Nicole Kidman and Catherine Zeta-Jones, who was married in them, are among the celebrities to sparkle in the antique cushion-cut diamonds and antique and estate brooches. The jewels here reflect important periods in jewelry design, whether it be Art Deco, the Court Jewels of the 19 Century, the Golden Age of India or the classic elegance of pearls from the 1940s. One of the three boutiques in the United States is at Via Bellagio at the Bellagio.
