It’s hard to believe that after 13 years of filling tall orders for the Biltmore Hotel’s Palm d’Or restaurant, Chef Philippe Ruiz has resigned. According to Miami News Times who originally broke the news of the chef’s departure, followed by Danielle Finnegan, a spokeswoman for the Biltmore also confirmed the story of his resignation.  [...read more]

Just in time for the New Year, Patina restaurant in Los Angeles gears up for not one, not two, but three black truffle dinners which will be held on January 10, 11, and 12. Patina will offer special course meals for each of these days for up to 240 guests each night. If you have driven past the Ganzavort recently you may have noticed something missing—Philippe. But no need to worry, Philippe hasn’t left Miami. In fact, I think they made an upgrade to the South of Fifth neighborhood—specifically the old Tavrena Opa location. This means you don’t have to park your car valet anymore—unless you want to of course.
