What lockout? Last month on Aug. 30, we saw some of the NBA’s finest players take to the court for a star-studded exhibition game in Baltimore and this month is no different. The 2011 Philadelphia Flower Show, aptly named “Springtime in Paris” has really raised the bar this year! As soon as you enter the Convention Center, you are immersed in everything Parisian. I have been to Paris and the creators of this year's show left no stone unturned! The Eiffel Tower is surrounded by beautiful flowers and trees; there are exhibits capturing the City of Lights in all its splendor; there were artists with easels painting the beautiful gardens; Monet's garden and the Tuileries Garden were captured to perfection; and beautiful french music playing in the background.  [...read more]
