On May 13 celebrities such as Russell Simmons, Angela Simmons, Estelle, Swizz Beatz, and others arrived at the 2010 SESAC Music Awards Gala held at the IAC Building in New York City. Numerous artists won awards in different categories including Nate "Danja" Hills who took home Songwriter of the Year as well as Song of the Year for his chart topping smash "Knock You Down," which he wrote for Keri Hilson. Mr. Bam himself, Emeril Lagasse is the latest honoree to be recognized for his philanthropic efforts on behalf of the Food Bank for New York City’s Eighth Annual Can-Do Awards.
