Shawn Elliott’s Luxury Homes & Estates is not your typical real estate firm. And then, of course, there’s Shawn Elliott himself, who has become almost legendary on the North Shore of Long Island for his event marketing. Just recently he shelled out close to $20,000 for a lavish open-house party complete with 300 guests, catered cuisine, champagne, break dancers and a DJ! The investment was worth every penny, he says. The 12,000-square-foot house’s asking price? $4.5 million.
“The real estate market is changing,” Elliott says. “So in order to be proactive, you have to think out of the box. You need to be creative and put everything you can into the property. And that’s been what distinguishes my firm from others. If there is a needle in a haystack, we will find it.”
