Since divorcing Tom Cruise this year, Katie Holmes has really branched out on her own.
In addition to heading back to Broadway and debuting her Holmes & Yang label at New York Fashion Week, it has just been announced that Homes has become the first celebrity spokesperson for the luxury cosmetics company Bobbi Brown.
The 33-year-old is confident that collaborating with the 21-year-old company was the right move at this time.
“We had tea in the afternoon, and we bonded,” Brown told WWD of how the collaboration came about. “And then it was, ‘Oh, my God, you would be the perfect face for Bobbi.’ We weren’t looking for a celebrity, just a cool, amazing woman who would fit with our brand. And she’s just ridiculously naturally beautiful.”
Brown also coincidentally happened to be doing the makeup for Katie’s New York Fashion Week showcase.
Though there are no concrete numbers at this time, industry sources estimate the actress will be paid between $2- and $3 million over several years.
