Angelina Jolie and fiance Brad Pitt are hosting one of the most glamorous Olympics parties of all time.
The fete is set for July 27, just two days before the official opening ceremony, at London’s Victoria & Albert Museum. The guest list is said to include Prince Harry, David and Victoria Beckham, Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones and Sharon Stone; Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton is also said to have received the highly coveted invite.
The event will honor boxing champion and new Louis Vuitton campaign star Muhammad Ali. The evening will begin with a reception in the museum’s gardens, to be followed by a black tie dinner and a closing ceremony in the grand Raphael Gallery.
The evening will benefit Sports for Peace, an initiative sponsored by Nelson Mandela celebrating “the intrinsic values of sport – fair play, tolerance, the Olympic ideal of freedom and international intercultural understanding.”
The gala was confirmed by the V&A yesterday morning.
