He’s a co-founder of Cloudera, an integral Silicon Valley consulting company that helps other companies use Hadoop—the cloud computing software he invented.  A friend of Mark Zuckerberg’s from Harvard, Hammerbacher is also a Facebook alum. He has been named one of the best young technology entrepreneurs by Bloomberg Business Week and was listed at one of the world’s seven most powerful data scientists by Forbes.  He recently married Halle Tecco: L’Oreal Woman of Worth Honoree, philanthropist, media-active, and most recently, a co-founder of Rock Health—the San Francisco based non-profit seed accelerator program aimed at supporting healthcare tech startups.
