As the Music Director of the San Francisco Symphony, Founder and Artistic Director of the New World Symphony and Principle Guest Conductor of the London Symphony Orchestra, Tilson Thomas is one of San Francisco’s most celebrated cultural icons.

The Tuscan-born Luisotti is currently the music director of the San Francisco Opera and principal guest conductor of the Tokyo Symphony. His San Francisco debut in 2005 was widely received and he has only continued his musical success since. Amongst his many other accolades, Luisotti was awarded the Premio Puccini Award in 2010.
