Iger is the current Chairman and CEO of The Walt Disney Company. He has made great leaps during his work at Disney, from the acquisition of Pixar in 2006 to the score of Marvel Entertainment in 2009 to the recent purchase of Lucasfilm. He is also a noted philanthropist, receiving the Ambassador of Humanity Award from Steven Spielberg’s Shoah Foundation Institute for Visual History and Education.
