Thank you for this. My only gripe is a few of the celebrities should have been left off of this list. Just because they own a home here, doesn't mean they spend enough time in South Florida to be influential. There are a few multi-millionaires and billionaires in Ft. Lauderdale that were also left out despite their massive philanthropic contributions (won't name names for privacy reasons). Also, I know he's just a DJ but Ian Grocher (DJ Irie) should have at least deserved an honorable mention, for his ties with the heat, and strong following in South Florida.
