I saw the pool deck when Kimpton designed it. This is a cool deck but it hardly has bay views. The pool is more like a hot tub without jets. The area has really gone to the gutter as nobody goes to coconut grove anymore which is why the last 3 owners of this hotel have failed

I am looking forward to any new establishment in Coconut Grove. Especially one that will bring people in from other areas of Miami.

these poor dumb boneheads didn’t get the right license for a nightclub. then they go and blast the music at their party friday night so loud half the grove has complained to the authorities. don’t be surprised to see this place on a very, very short leash.

I disagree, as I think Ron did a great job, and this will be a great place for UM students, along with people that don’t want to go to the beach. We need people to get back in the Grove, as it is a great place to hang. I went there last week, and had a blast.

I think Cabane One Lounge is an amazing new addition to South Florida’s nightlife, bringing a vibrant and refreshing ambiance to Coconut Grove. Its ultra-chic and exotic rooftop give guests the opportunity to escape to an intimate hideaway and be a part of an exclusive pool club that has a spectacular view of the Miami skyline, not to mention bottle service, and fine dining opportunities. Its an awesome hang out and provides people with a club-type atmosphere without the hassle of going all the way to South Beach or Brickell.
