Madonna’s private macrobiotic chef of seven years will unveil her dazzling lineup of healthy eating in Mayumi’s Kitchen: Macrobiotic Cooking for Body and Soul, her first English cookbook available June 2o1o.

Based on a diet of whole grains, vegetables and beans, macrobiotics has become a global sensation among stars like Gwyneth Palthrow and has been credited with providing high energy levels, beautiful skin, a tranquil mind and a great sense of connection with the universe.

The book, which merges both Western and non-Western styles, features a 10-day detox diet and more than 30 step-by-step instructions (with pictures for macrobiotics newbies) for recipes like Salmon Soup, Avocado Rolls, Vegetable Lasagna and Seitan Pot Stickers.
