Documentary Program: “React To Film Series”
The series continues (by invitation only) this Wednesday, March 3rd at SoHo House with screenings of “The End of the Line,” the first major feature documentary film revealing the impact of “over fishing” on our oceans.
Its world premiere was at last year’s Sundance Film Festival. The documentary was filmed across the world – from the Straits of Gibraltar to the coasts of Senegal and Alaska to the Tokyo fish market. It features top scientists, indigenous fishermen and enforcement officials. “The End of the Line” is a wake up call for everyone in the world to heed.
The film has received financial support from The Waitt Family Foundation, Marviva, The Oak Foundation, Channel 4 BRITDOC Foundation, WWF, The Weston Foundation, The Clore Foundation, The Marine Conservation Society, AD Charitable Trust, GD Charitable Trust, Waterloo Foundation and Oceana.
Coralie prides herself on promoting the documentaries that she selects and presents them to an eclectic cross section of society with a view towards provoking stimulating, and mind bending debates that will “make a difference in the World.”
After each screening she initiates discussion by starting with three questions to ignite the viewing audience and engage them in a stimulating discussion. Coralie loves the idea that people who view these documentaries not only become educated on interesting topics, but also are inspired to express their opinions and engage others in stimulating debate.
Bottom line – Coralie Charriol Paul has definitely, as she says, “caught onto something.” The End Of The Line documentary about “over fishing” and her film series “React to Film” is anything but “fishy,” and Haute Living has fallen for her “hook line and sinker,” not only because she is beautiful, but because she has found a way to spotlight what matters to society.
