Chef Boulud Serves it Big with IMG
“IMG’s size and scope are extremely attractive to me, given their experience in branding in so many areas and the world-class resources at their disposal to leverage valuable opportunities and extend the reach of my brand,” stated Boulud.
No surprise from the ever present media figure not to mention chef-owner of ten award wining restaurants and numerous titles including the James Beard Foundation Awards for ‘Outstanding Restaurateur,’ ‘Best Chef of New York City’ and ‘Outstanding Chef of the Year.’
Boulud will be among the plethora of leading athletes, super models, and sport franchises that IMG, operating in 30 countries, manages.
In making the announcement, Sandy Montag, Senior Corporate Vice President, IMG Sports and Entertainment, said, “He is hugely talented and we are looking forward to partnering with a celebrated chef like Daniel to further build his brand and expand his business relationship through strategic endorsement, speaking, marketing and licensing opportunities.” Great things in the works, though we may be wary should he pop up on a cereal box.
