Shuichi Take


Shuichi Take, one of Miami’s most sought-after personal trainers, possesses a positive aura and energy that is as unique as his Japanese/Cuban background. Originally from Washington D.C., Shuichi has been active in sports and exercise his entire life making health and fitness a natural career choice. In 2004, Shuichi was hired by NBA superstar Alonzo Mourning to design and facilitate a strength, conditioning and rehabilitation program to help him recover from a kidney transplant. Shuichi soon relocated to Miami to continue working with Mourning during his successful return to the NBA. The partnership of Shuichi and Morning is described in Chapter 12 of Mourning’s autobiography “Resilence: Faith, Focus, Triumph”. The book goes in depth to illustrate the experience they both underwent in that period of their respective lives. Since then, Shuichi has worked with many of Miami’s celebrities, professional athletes and other elite clientele including Haute Living Publishers Kamal Hotchandani and Seth Semilof.
