Born in Croatia, Monika Jakisic, aka ‘The Croatian Sensation,’ arrived on the London scene in the 90s and hasn’t looked back since.

She studied at the London College of Fashion and after displaying a unique flair for fashion was snapped up by Reiss to design a line of women’s wear. Monika quickly transitioned to becoming the resident fashion expert on Channel 4's Big Breakfast and MTV.

But it wasn’t long before the world of modeling beckoned and after being discovered by Select Modeling Agency Monika entered the Storm Look Modeling competition and her career took off. While Janice Dickenson may claim the title of the world’s first supermodel, Monika Jakisic undoubtedly holds the crown of Croatia’s first supermodel, having graced the international runways and covers of prestigious magazines alike.

Monika’s jet set lifestyle and effervescent personality has made her regular on the international glitterati party circuit and consort of choice to many of Hollywood’s top stars and was propelled to global notoriety for her relationship with George Clooney in 2007.
