Michael Herklots


Michael Herklots began his career in the cigar business in Boston, MA, in 1998. He relocated to New York City in 2002 where he currently resides and works in the retail cigar industry. Aside from his duties in the retail business, he regularly hosts events and seminars around the country on cigars, pairing with wine and food, and other “Good Life”-related topics. He travels frequently to the Dominican Republic, Honduras, and Nicaragua to visit factories, fields, and to continue to learn more about tobacco and the art of making premium cigars. Herklots is a Certified Master Tobacconist by Tobacconist University, a teacher for the American Sommelier Association, and a contributing author for several national publications. Follow him on Twitter @michaelherklots.
