Steven Spielberg Lists Malibu Beach House for Rent for $125,000/Month

Renowned Hollywood director Steven Spielberg and his wife Kate Capshaw have listed their Malibu beach house for rent for $125,000 per month. The 7,237-square-foot home has seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms.

According to Real Estalker, Spielberg quietly listed the beachfront residence for the 2013 summer season for $125,000 per month. Located on a stretch of Broad Beach, Malibu that is popular among Hollywood elite, the home sits on 1.08 acres of land with approximately 150 feet of beach frontage and includes four bedrooms on the ground floor and three on the second floor. The home also includes a master suite with a private study/library and a massage room, a swimming pool in the middle of a courtyard, multi-level decks, a screening room, two fireplaces, a three-car garage, and a security system.

There is a detached two-bedroom guest house and a “bonus space” for additional living/entertaining use. Celebrity neighbors include Pierce Brosnan, Goldie Hawn, Kurt Russell, Steve Levitan, Dustin Hoffman, Ray Romano, among others.

Spielberg purchased the first parcel of land where his home sits in 1989 for $3,375,000 and the second parcel in 2002 for $3,191,000.
