Liam Neeson Joins Coveted $20 Million Club of Actors

Liam Neeson, star of theTaken saga, is reaping the benefits of his blockbuster films with his newfound membership of the exclusive $20 million club of highly-paid actors. That’s right. The upcoming Taken 3 movie will award the iconic patriarch $20 million for his role as Bryan Mills, the fearless and unstoppable CIA operative.

The distinguished Hollywood assemblage of actors includes Leonardo DiCaprio, Reese Witherspoon, Julia Roberts, Angelina Jolie, Tom Cruise, Tom Hanks, Jim Carrey, Mel Gibson, Kristen Stewart, Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp and Robert Downey Jr.

Liam Neeson’s action-packed franchise started out with a $25 million budget for its 2009 film that grossed $376 million worldwide. Taken 2 cost $20 million more to produce and earned $226 million worldwide.

Taken 3‘s production will take place in March of next year with the guidance of Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen‘s script. The director and supporting cast are still up in the air, but suspicions about Olivier Megaton, Maggie Grace and Famke Janssen returning still circulate.
