Karl Lagerfeld Auctions Chanel Internship for Children’s Charity
Karl Lagerfeld, the German style mogul, is offering go-getting fashionistas a shot at a Chanel internship for a pretty, polished penny. Determined bidders will fight with their pocketbooks on July 27 during the auction at the Love Ball, the principal fundraiser for Natalia Vodianova‘s children’s charity, The Naked Heart Foundation. With the largesse of Albert II, Prince of Monaco and Charlene, Princess of Monaco, the Seventies in the Riviera-themed soirée will auction off twelve “priceless” experiences (tennis with a pro and royal box seats for an opera) in the hopes of raising $6.6 million. From performances by renowned Russian conductor Valery Gergiev to glamorous gambling, the gala promises a high-end experience.
