Haute Event: Barneys Celebrates Proenza Schouler’s ‘First Collection’ in LA

Barneys New York hosted an intimate summer soiree to toast Proenza Schouler designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez late last week.

The haute department store was celebrating “First Collection”, a limited-edition reissue of the fashion label’s Fall 2003 collection.

A slew of Proenza Schouler’s celebrity fans gathered at the Los Angeles home of Mark Fletcher and Tobias Meyer for the elegant dinner party.

Those famous faces included Kate Bosworth, Kirsten Dunst, Rashida Jones, Angela Lindvall, China Chow, Gia Coppola, Samantha Traina, Victoria Traina, Lisa Eisner, David Morehouse, Rosetta & Balthazar Getty, Lisa Love, Nathalie Love, Michael Polish and Elizabeth Stewart.

Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez were just recently awarded the 2013 CFDA Womenswear Designer of the Year Award.         .
