Garde Robe Luxury Wardrobe Storage & Valet Comes To South Florida

Garde Robe, a first-rate wardrobe storage and valet service that Carolina Herrera and Oscar de la Renta have been using for years in New York City, has arrived in Miami. The storage, organization and valet company, which is known for their complete management of high end wardrobes, has cemented a partnership with Rey’s Cleaners, a well-known, local Certified Couture Cleaner. The number of services the company provides is endless, but let’s just say it works something like this: for $350 a year you can store 50 items, 10 custom shoe boxes and an accessories box in their climate-controlled, top-secret storage facility. The items are inspected carefully by Rey’s, then either cleaning is recommended or garments are steamed and cataloged digitally with their Cyber Closet service, so you don’t forget what’s there. Their white glove service provides pick-ups and drop-offs and shipping anywhere in the country.

President of Rey’s Cleaners, Angel Suarez, says the service is perfect for Floridians living close to the ocean, where salt air can take it’s toll on couture gowns. And with their Luggage-Free Valet service, hey can also pack, ship and unpack entire wardrobes. He explains, “We have a client from LA that comes for Art Basel and she hates traveling with luggage, so we send everything ahead to her downtown condo, and have everything unpacked and hanging in the closet when she arrives.”  They will also help globetrotter clients who might have an event in LA bur realize the perfect outfit is in their apartment in Sao Paulo.

This type of service is totally new to the area and truly archival, museum quality. For the fashionistas of Florida (right now the service is available from Key Largo to Palm Beach and Naples) this is a game-changer; a true valet service that will free up their closets, store their designer gear and keep everything moth and stain-free.
